A Fab Weekend
Before I forget (because of the unsurmountable, and gargantuan task of my powerpoint presentation) I decided last Saturday to buy again pirated dvds to watch at home. I bought Lemony Snicket: A Series Of Unfortunate Events (wha a long title that was!) and Vanity Fair (I soooo love Reese Witherspooon).
My review: I was shocked! The copies I bought were copied from the original dvd and not from some foreign movie house being taped by some shadowy entrepeneur. I watched first lemony and it was fabulous! The three young actors/actresses were really effective in playing their role. Kinda subdued and silent but with power. And you'll really hate the character that Jim carey plays!
Vanity fair was also amazingly great! The drama and the costumes were really thought of. Reese played a young orphaned social climber (or in that movie a social mountaineer) determined to climb up in society filled with drama, romance, snobby antagonist and war.
Maybe I should get another movie this weekend. Bridget Jones 2 anyone?
