Last Friday, I went to SSS Makati to get my last needed document for my employment. I went first to my mom to get the authenticated copy of my birth certificate (by the way which hindered me from getting my SSS number earlier and the fact that the SSS office last Tuesday was offline...) and then go to La Salle and have my birth certificate photocopied.
When I was finished and ready to get my own SSS number, I went to their office at Buendia. But to my horror, their computer was again offline!!! My God! They don't even try to fix it for the last 3 days! So I almost panicked and remembered to call my aunt;
Me: Tita! Offline ang computer ng SSS!
Tita Aida: Ok. Sandali lang. Tatawagan kita uli. I'll go ask someone.
Me: Ok.
A few minutes later...
Tita Aida: Punta ka rito sa office. Sasamahan kita.
Me: Ok.
So I went to my aunt's office. And we took the jeepney going to Guadalupe and then took another jeepney going to Taft. When we arrived at our destination... it dawned on me... the SSS office was near our place!!! And in fact, the directions that have been given to my aunt actually made us go in circles when in fact we could have just taken a shorter route. When we went inside the office, there were so many applicants. But, thankfully the person or should I say the lady in counter left and was replaced by somebody who is more efficient than her so the process went a bit quickly.
The statement is... SSS really stinks in their service... referring to the Buendia branch only...
