Today; today is my lucky day... Watch out, retailing and the merchandising industry, coz' I already have a JOB!!! Yes, someone in this busy, chaotic world finally gave me the chance to prove my worth. The job is at INFONXX at the posh place of the RCBC Plaza at Makati City (I love this city!!!), a wallop of salary for starters, and a bearable dress code, and hopefully nice co-workers... at least Kris is already there and hopefully Pia and Joyce too in the near future.
A little backtracking... I went there for my final test and interview. The final test was a typing test to see our typing speed and accuracy. They have this weird progrma that once you have entered a word and hit the space button, you cannot anymore correct your spelling but I have to deal with it. So after the whole batch was finished with their typing test, we are all waiting for the final interview. To my surpirse, I was the first one to be called and the interviewer said the words that I have desperately wanted to hear for 5 months... Congratulations.
I like to give a shout out to Kris... Kris, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I promise I'll treat you on my first paycheck and all of my friends!!!!
The company asked me which country I would prefer, I chose U.K. Hope everything about other people telling me that British people are much nicer and American would be true. I'll have to go back there at the office at Monday to submit all the required documents. I'll be busy getting all these papers done!
A word of advise after 5 months of career searching, there are 2 kinds of HR people that are prevalent in our country, first are the quick but nagging and the other, the worst kind you can possibly encounter, the manipulative, deceitful, conniving biatch. I would rather pick the first one, won't you?
