Today, me and with my dad, we went out to get my documents needed for my work... So I have to basically wake up early... (at around 5! The last time I woke up that early was a year ago!) So I was a bit nervous... I know I live in Manila but I don't know really anything about my city... You could say that I'm a Makati girl.
First was the NBI clearance at Carriedo... and good lord... the way to that place is horrible! Like going through a wet market... and my friend Chase warned me about bad elements on those kind of places... bring a handy pepper spray. Really now?
Thank God there were only few people inside the building... so the process was kinda speedy... the only thing I didn't like was the actual thumbmarking... icky ink! I remember Kris telling me to bring an alcohol for that situation and lucky me!!! I forgot to bring one. Thank God, they were selling these little wipes for two pesos. Makes me wonder, does our government really need money for our budget; even selling wipes?
Next and the last stop... the Manila City Hall for my Community Tax Certificate. Thank God it was fast... but the thing is the whole trip was hot! Like it was summer out there!
