Tiring Weakend....
Girls, don't try to succesively doing hadas on two straight days. Its no fun at all. Promise. It can be really tiring and painful. Whatever. My friend told me its just two ways to handle it. Abstain from it to forget the whole thing and the second one is to make hada as many as I can... so i chose the second one and now, there would be no more hada anytime soon. My legs and jaw hurt. Really. And my **** seriously also hurt. Pakshet.
Note to myself: no to hadas every night

This month has been a rollercoaster month for me. Up and down but the big thing is I'm a renewed person. I swear if you see me now, you might think I'm crazy cause sometimes I smile with no apparent reason.
*note: those people who are close to me know why I am like this... I'm so happy!!!

Roaming Free Again
Alas, I am umemployed again... after a short but meaningful 2 months of laughing at applicants who want to get in the lucrative business of the call center industry, I was again let go by the stupid management. I guess I was never meant for the busy and funny world of mass recruitment in PS.
I have been busy lately updating me with all the stuff I have seemed to miss out upon when I was working in PS, like my schedule back then was Monday to Saturday, literally. Of course the bittersweet ending of all this short charade was the people who I have grown close with. Ok at this point we need a list:
Annie: the first person I met and became close with at PS. Lucky one you are! Hope your you would prosper there in that kind of environment...
Jaime: the ever soft-spoken one, you just have to believe in yourself and your an elmer girl... remember it... not elmar, got it?
Sam: the wild child of the group, I would miss our perpetually lost escapades with her driving skills and her breaks in which I would accompany her for a smoke in the pantry...
Nelle: the modest one... rich but a very grounded individual who has a ton of patience but has her limits... I would certainly miss our great mall escapades during our lunch breaks
Cha: this girl is a whole lotta woman! Has confidence built-in and hard wired to her personality, you go girl!
Cielo: the one who could relate to my insane spending habits but the difference is that, this girl could really afford it... I'm wishing you an advance blissful married life...
Karen: the newest one yet I have only known the shortest, silents but also fun is you decided to look more closely... girl you have a lot to learn about the real world, sadly we wouldn't be part a you open and discover new things in life, what the heck, we're just a text away
Rhoda: the morena beauty, knows how to spend a good time even though this girl is pious, hey dazzle everyone out there with your innate charm!
Elaine: the meek one, easy to talk to and don't her looks fool you this girl is loaded! And even suprisingly, the knows how to laugh!
Egor: the only guy in the group... as far as I am concerned. Very gentleman and very fluent in english... good luck to your stay there in PS.
To everyone I failed to mention, sorry I forgot. To all those who want to be included in the world of frantic mass recruitment in PS, I advise you go and look for another company, in which you not a contractual employee renewable every month and considered a disposable person in the higher scheme of thier organizational chart. No room for growth whatsoever. Really. I swear your off with a better company. I hope merv will be struck with lighting and Julia, hope you trip and stumble in the drop-off ground in PS. :) What can I say? I'm just a freshly laid-off employee?

A Fun Saturday Night!!!
Hey, it seems I'm the only one having fun these days... Cheer up people! Last night miles, chase and moi went out to get togehter again and catch up with what has be happpening with each other. Miles and me went to Makati earlier because miles wanted to buy a nice pair of shoes and some accessories coz she'll be awarded for her superb efforts in the pr of dove. She settles on a nice pair of golden open-toed slingbacks from Francesco and we went to Carolinas to buy a small tiara which she'll wear to the event itself. So proud of you miles!
After that we went to Cafe Breton to have some delish make-your-own crepes. Yum!!!! I had mangoes, cream, and chocolate syrup! Love it! Miles ordered additional bananas and caramel syrup instead of chocolate. We talked there for a while about life and our social lives.... and we waited for chase there.
Finally when chase showed up... like fashionably late... we decided to check the movie times and we all decided to watch "Fun with Dick and Jane". But before we watched the movie, we ate at Bolas... (did I got it right? The resto who sells meatballs?) and after that that we went around some shops. After that it was already time to watch the movie. It was a funny movie but I find it to short or the story was very fast paced. And the stupid ticket girl was poor in Math! Meron pa kaming sukli and she told us na wala na daw kaming sukli and I clearly remember that we gave 440 but the cost of three tickets was only 420! She short-changed us! Kakarmahin ka din! hahaha!
After the movie we decided to gatecrash at one of chase's friend in Mezze. It was an open bar, so miles and moi ordered Margaritas while chase ordered shirley temple. Which again, proved that I get easily drunk. By the end of my drink I was again red-faced and laughing uncontrollably. So we decided to get ourselves coffee and headed to Starbucks, which prove to be worthless coz I didn't like the caramel frap that i got. And coincidentally, there's a prom on which we saw hordes of young adolescent teens wearing coat and yards and yards of unfashinable tulle! I saw even some just pull their shoes of their feet! Hello! So bizarre!
Hey siomai you should be there! Next time you double check and have a planner with you okie? There is next time pa naman.

Love Little Britain!!!
I love Little Britain (shown in Star World every Sunday 10:00 in the evening)!!! That show is super funny! Everytime I watch it I can't stop myself from laughing! Will & Grace has become dry so I turn to Little Britain for my comic relief every sunday night.
Here are the list of my favorite characters in that show:

Vicky Pollard is your common-or-garden teenage delinquent, the sort you can see hanging around any number of off licences in Britain, trying to persuade people going inside to buy them 10 fags and a bottle of White Lightening. Whether nicking stuff from the supermarket or swapping her baby for a Westlife CD, Vicky reacts to any accusation with indignant outrage, while filling you in on 'this fing wot you know nuffin about'.

Sebastian is the Prime Minister's aide, and loves him deeply. Clingy, bitchy and insanely jealous, Sebastian wants nothing more than to have the Prime Minister all to himself. The Prime Minister only just tolerates Sebastian's erratic behaviour, but is largely oblivious to his aide's obsession - even when Sebastian is forcibly slow-dancing with him to Careless Whisper.

Marjorie Dawes is the terrifying leader of weight loss support group Fatfighters. Every week, she mercilessly belittles and humiliates the group for being so, well, fat, while all the time oblivious to her own size, and desperately trying to conceal her compulsive consumption of biscuits, crisps and any other junk she can get her hands on.

In Herby City live Andy and his carer Lou. Lou selflessly dedicates his life to looking after wheelchair-bound Andy and Andy selfishly dedicates his life to making things as difficult as possible for Lou. What Lou doesn't know is that there's nothing wrong with Andy's legs, and whenever he turns his back, Andy's off out of his chair and gambolling about like a fat, balding, semi-naked spring lamb.

Committed 'homosexualist' Daffyd lives in the Welsh town of Llanddewi Brefi. Proud to be gay, Daffyd flaunts his sexuality in a variety of rubber outfits, to the villagers' complete indifference. He refuses to accept he's not the only 'gayer' in the village, and is outraged when fellow gays trespass on his patch.
I really love the characters of the prime minister and his assistant and marjorie the leader of the fatfighters. I highly recommend it! You'll not stop laughing!

Baclaran En Route To Movie!
I could now definitely say that I have now stepped into the Baclaran area. You asked why? Cause we have to bring our "padala" to my dear aunts in UAE to this guy who happens to be living in Baclaran and he is leaving soon. I didn't knew that is was far from my place! Me and aunt took us about more than an hour to reach that place. And the traffic was horrible. I was like Divisoria but more spacious (I think...) we didn't go to the innermost part... we just have to meet the guy on the LRT station which was I found out the last station for LRT. Thank God he sisn't took long to meet us there and after exchanging goods and thank yous we decided to muster our strenghts and go and ride LRT. I was frankly afraid of the people who would bump me and the "policy". Whatever. Thank God the LRT station of Baclaran was the first one (in our case) so we were able to sit comfortably. May I saw that even though I abhor riding LRT or MRT, it does make an effective way of travelling around the Metro, took us only a few minutes compared to the jeepney ride going there in the first place. After that we went to Greenbelt to watch Underworld Evolution. It was nice! Kate Bekinsale... love her! And as I watched the movie, I thought the character played by Scott Speedman was killed... but not! He's a hybrid! Sexy hybrid if I might add. I hate sad endings, you see. I have always found fascination toward vampires... hmmm... they seem so sexy and dark and brooding. And the movie was the number box-office hit to date. Yehey!

A Shrimp Filled Saturday Night
I also forgot that I have mentioned to my friend chase that we would be going out this Saturday so I was suprised that he called me to remind me about it. He has some gift certifcates from Bubba Gump so I decided to go through with it. We like to invite Miles but sadly she has made earlier engagement so she couldn't come with us. So I decided to invite Celestialsiomai and thanks god I was able to reach her in time because she was already leaving for her saturday class.
So we decide to meet at Greenbelt's Powerbooks at 6 in the evening. So I came along with my family to some shopping first then before 6 I already went to our meeting point. First to come was Siomai then I went with her to Sm ticknet to get her ticket to Jason Mraz's concert. After that we went back and met with Chase.
We went directly to Bubba Gump and had the time of our life eating seafood especially shrimps. Very oily, bad for the heart. I noticed most of the diners were chinese. Mostly old people. Don't they know its bad for them? Anyway, next we went around some shop and ogled at the fabulous cases for ipod we found at Kate Spade. (It cost around 4k.)
After that we decide to get some coffee and chat the night away while bitching about other people in Starbucks and laugh-out loud! We talked about lives and stuff. :) Then siomai had to leave because of some project she has to do. So chase want to watch a movie and decided to watch King Kong. I was a looong movie! 3 hours long! The ickiest part was the insects and leeches. Ewwwww. Digusting! I was really sad for the beast. Whatever. Kinda nice though. I really wish that Jack Black's character would be killed! So greedy and manipulative. Grrr.

X-men Trailer! Warning H-O-T Mutants
I recently have chatted with my long-time friend fran and he was raving about the new X-Men trailer that he has seen on Yahoo Movies. So I decided to check it out and it seems the are a lot of new characters to be introduced in the movie. There the addition of Angel (which by the way looks HOT!) and there is Juggernut, Beast, Colossus (with is also H-O-T!) and Kitty Pryde as Shadowcat! I'm so thrilled they decided to make her one of the main characters of the movie! I'm a Kitty Pryde fan! Sadly, Nightcrawler wasn't included in the story (I guess one blue guy is enough) and news that Jean Grey will be already be Phoenix... Dark Phoenix which will technically her role will be a villian. Storm now sporting a new shorter do. But I'm too sure where Magneto is. I already visited the offical website and there is not picture of Magneto. Hmmm... Maybe it's a suprise. Friends I want to watch this movie togther with you guys!

He is hot! I would do him in a heartbeat! Hahaha!

Wandering Around Makati
The last two days I have been walking around Makati like a mentally deranged person looking for a job. My Itenerary happens to look like this:
On Tuesday:
- lunch with Ms. Nans (hr of mccann) at Yellowcab; first time we co-trainess seen each other again
- asked her for referrals
- met with Miles
- went to different ad agencies (with celestialsiomai)
- ate at Cafe Breton... delish crepes! Mine included mangoes, cream, and chocolate syrup just like the one in La Salle!
- after that, we watched Family Stone which I have to admit made me cry
- went home
On Wednesday:
- met with May
- waited for celestialsiomai for hours at Powerbooks
- bought some drink at Fuzion
- went around again Makati
- ate soemthing at Country Style
- went home
I could honestly say that looking for a job isn't only physically tiring but also emo draining as well! But I have to say during the aimless searching I spotted some cute guys! :) Next week I would go out again to pass my resumes around.

Blast From The Past

Last night I happen to stumble upon a historical artifact. I have seen agaiin the video of Shaina Twain "You've A Got A Way" and it dawned on me that Shaina Twain is pretty indeed! Well on some of her videos I have to admit she will not be receiviing any fashion awards on those kind of fashion statement she's wearing but in this particular video everything seems to fall into place: to her hair, make-up which looks so enchantingly perfect, to her corset top full of flowers! I say FABULOUS! I'd wished she dooon't go back to country singiing trash... I hope.

I Just Can't Help It!
I just recently bought again a wallet from Lacoste so it would match with the bag I bought back then. It's white and so pretty (even though I spent a buttload of cash on it, it was worth it!!! Did I mentioned I was able to purchase it because my aunt gave a gift check for rustan's?) Fabulous even without work! Take that Mccann!

Back To Square One...
Finally, my Christmas again for this year is quite literally sad... I'm officially jobless again. I am disappointed by the decision of the mothers not to hire me... maybe they just can't handle the heat that I bring to UM. Hahaha!
But looking on the other side of things, maybe Media isn't really for me. This has been my second time to try it and it still didn't worked out. The really bad thing aout this is that I cannot anymore see my beloved friends whom I shared countless joys there in UM.
So for those of us who didn't make it here's my parting words for all of you. (And albeit I also will include those who made it...)
To Cy:
my wicked sistah, I will terribly miss our laugh trips together and your deep and very honest opinions about the birds and bees, I will miss your sponteneity and infectious laugh and your ability to give realy sound and honest advise
To Lia:
my Mother! (even though we can't each other "mothers" anymore) I shall miss your naivety and your "in your face" honesty, we share the same passion for clothes specifically the brands and jackets
To Lian:
diorella! the rocker in our group with a very stylish personality and beautiful calming voice, effortless style I should say, her love for sleep during mornings, and her well deserved stint in love... you go girl!
To RB:
the robot/pokemon loving person in the squad... silent but very approachable, suprisingly adaptable to any person he encounters, I could say I would miss his shocking and scandalous revelations
Now for the other lucky group...
To Juzi:
juziness! Gonna miss you too! by the time we entered revalida we have become really close... hay, gonna miss your stories about your dating escapades, honey, I'll be not there anymore to give advice to your choice regarding men... we had our sleepovers and obh (remember it? operation boy hunting?)
To Regi:
sistah! whatever you decide eventually there we will understand it... I would miss your not so often but right on the target retorts full of gay sarcasm... the little bouts of words with mudra and cheekiness... and I will miss one of the most colorful yet deep persons I have met and became friends with
To Lotis:
cheekiness! This girl lived in a vacuum but I know that is about to change due to the fact we have corrupted her mind, hahaha! I will miss your usb (among all the usbs I have seen yours is still the best I have seen)... and I will miss our lessons in the different lingos she still needs to learn
Finally to Jeri:
the most cutest among all of us, still searching to mr. perfect (who isn't) she has her own flair for style... her party van, and because of her I might want to get a flip phone
I'd wish we met sooner or that the revalida was longer. I'll terribly be missing all of you.

An Almost Perfect Night... Almost
Well, it was friday again (I cannot believe it! The week flew so fast!) and I was not an ordinary friday which we would just go and have a well deserve rest for 2 days. This friday was whne our salaries came! Oh, I can imgagine all the stuffs that I would buy... make-up, clothes, food, etc.... so many merchandise so little time (and money).
So me and my co-workers/trainees decided to go and paint the town red (and in this case the town we are referring to was greenbelt). The girls in particular really anticipated this special event. They brought extra clothes and make-up and a curling iron (I wished I had long hair... sigh) Oh I have this fabulous feeling that this would be a fun night with my friends.
So after work which thank God I managed by:
1. avoid it at all cost which entailed:
1.a hiding below the desks
1.b going on extra long breaks
2. finishing it like there was a cosmo bachelor bash part 2 (finish the prezos!)
We really waited for Reggie and RB to finish their work while we are all bush primping up ourselves. (I swear, some of them could be like totally slave drivers. But alas, unfortunately, RB cannot beat the deadline and has to render OT... ew... (I always fail to complete the necessary document to file it...) so he cannot go with us.
And we have cars, thru the generosity of Lia and Jeri. We decided to go to Temple bar and have fun and get wasted. Once we arrived in Greenbelt, we met in Powerbooks and some of my friend to buy books and me, where else... in Body Shop. I have to buy my new stock of beauty products. My concealer was already reduced to none so I bought that, then this new wonderful product that I read in the magazine.

Give skin youthful luminosity with this combination of light diffusers and pearl pigments. Smooth it on, and skin seems to glow from within. Community Traded marula nut oil and vitamin E nourish and protect.
So we finally have a table in Temple and just waiting and chilling out when suddenly I saw HIM! The fucking shit that I swear to God I'll rip his every limb from his body with all ferocity I could muster like a demeted person. I have to admit, I'm not good with this kind of confrontation. I refuse to let him destroy my night. God! I hate him so much! Hate him, hate him, I absolutely hate him! I will never, never forget nor forgive you! Never!
So, I have to shake it off girl! We ordered mostly pancit dishes and some pasta and alcoholic drinks already. Since the incident before... (remember in Masa's) my friends are afraid to let me get drunkl so early in the evening... or even drunk! So I decided to get an apple martini. Delicious! (But I was already red here.) So we decided to dance after some chit-chat. The sounds of the place was quite good some of the songs played I actually liked... but for the most part I realized that I am still not comfortable to dance in public places more so in Temple. But there are some cute guys I saw there. Even the the owner or the manager was cute. I could ask him, "Do you have a brother? And by any chance would you two (or more) be identical twins (or more)." Hahaha! That would be most fun is he answered yes! He would be the answer to my fantasy or eherm... dreams.
And Lian, oh Lian was the most happy among all of us. You go girl! Go and make your mamma proud! The hair, oh hair was fabulous! So we partied until 2:00 in the early morning of Sunday. thank God it did not rain or anything and it was easy to get a cab going home. And it was not suprised at all to see my mom stuill awake in the lving room waiting for me. All I needed to do was to approach her and gave her a portion of my salary. And all is fine.

Judgement can be a reminder that judgments are necessary; sometimes you must decide. At such moments, it is best to consider the matter carefully and then commit yourself without censure. If you are being judged yourself, learn from the process. Take what is of value, correct what needs correcting, but never lose sight of your worth. One Rainy, Hectic, Drunk Friday
Finally, Friday came! Alas I could have some decent sleep after a week of grouchy wake-ups. My day started with lectures (by the secooond half of the lecture I started seeing double already due to sheer boredom and lack of sleep) which ended not quite on the schedule! 30 minutes late! Ate my lunch... with my new found friends... stayed up to 2 something before mustering enough energy to go backk to the office and start working.
My work started with some bump-offs! Thanks Channel 2! You're the best! (note: sarcasm here...) Then some urgent deliveries to sent to client (damn you client!) and the finance is already going gaga over me because of all the unsigned ce's I have... damn you again! Then more running for nego rate for the damn client and the circulation of some magazine publications... I was literally runnign all over UM here... but still in poise.
Then worked on my assignment for the lecture which are already piling up... then to a mock tv plan... its sooo hard! All that daypart splits! Thanks God my bosses went for a meeting. I'm free! So me and my new found friends decide we should have some fun! Decision: Go to Masa's at Greenbelt... eat, drink and be drunkk spilling alll secrets until you and your new found friends are buddies!
Soo we order a whole array of food; let mw think... Tokwa't baboy, sisig, pansit canton and liempo. And how could I pass the zombie frozen! It was delish! Yummm! But I know for a fact that I not good handling alcoholic drinks. let me count the ways to overkill:
1. Drink early on the evening.
2. Become red as a tomato.
3. Laugh incoherently and at everything.
4. Falling asleep.
5. And finally puking all the food you ate.
Hay, I was kinda sad... the food was free pa naman thanks to the eternal generosity of Lian! Thanks again Lian! You're pretty. Hahaha! And the whole fucking time was raining, but at least I am with my friends so it didn't seem to dampen the festive mood that much.
At the end of it all... it was hard to get taxis!!! Putah! They are more picky than me when it comes to choosing their passengers! But it was well compensated because we saw one of the most handsome guys here in the country! Hot mama! If he offered himslef to me... without even batting an eyelash (exact words used by Cy), I would do him in a heartbeat! The muscles on his arms are HUGE! Oh my!
When I woke up today, I feel like I am aboout to get sick.... Please no... Bawal magkasakit especially when you are working in UM. i wish weekends were longer and the client was an angel with arms of steel... like the guuy we say on McDO in Greenbelt. He was dreamy.... hay...

One Of The Few Days That I Annually Look Forward To...
When Septmeber sets in, there is a feeling that something big, amazing is about to happen. Like a miracle is about to happen. It's the Cosmo Bachelor Bash! Imagine a throng of hooot guys parading in almost nothing, in a flirty mode. I have to summon everybit of my patience and delikadesa not to touch any of those fucking hot guys.
But alas, there is a chink in my happiness, the guy I have been avoiding (like since we have met) is one of the 69 bachelors! The fuck! And I saw him in the event itself. Feeling gwapo and all; which is soooo not true!
The host was some girl who I didn't even know. The ground was like a virtual quicksand! All muddy coz of the rain. Ewwww. But the good thing was the aircon was better. Another thing to discuss was the way to get hold of a ticket for the event. Kinda reminds me of the Golden Ticket in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, loooove it! This year the fucking editors and staff changed the rules. Instead of joining some stupid promo, the ticket would be given by inviation only. The con: if you don't have connections, surely you would not be going this year; the pro: less people.
I guess the standards of Cosmo has been constantly dropping over the span of 5 years. The demand for hot meat is ever increasing while the supply is quickly diminshing so I'm not the suprised by the year 2020 the the guys would be like lifeless turds.
Here are some of the pics!

Hey, I can't seem to upload the short videos from the event. Kainis! Meron pa naman si William something. Sorry, his last name is kinda strange. If there is somebody who knows how to upload the clip... it is in Quick Time movie format please leave a message prefarbly in the comments page.
